Serato DJ Pro Suite 4 for Windows is a professional digital DJ performance and music-management platform designed for DJs, performers, clubs, mobile entertainers, broadcasters, and music-production environments. Serato DJ Pro provides a complete workflow for preparing music libraries, beat matching, mixing, scratching, cueing, looping, applying effects, recording sets, and controlling compatible DJ hardware. It can also operate without connected hardware in Practice Mode, while supported controllers, mixers, turntables, and accessories provide expanded performance functionality.

The 4.x generation introduced a major redesign of Serato’s library experience. The new library adds features such as Track Rating, enhanced search, crate search, improved organization, and a more visual library workflow, helping DJs manage large music collections more efficiently. Serato DJ Pro also supports streaming-service workflows, while providing traditional local-file library management through crates and playlists.

For live performance, Serato DJ Pro provides multiple deck modes, quantize, MIDI mapping, recording, DJ-FX, sampler functionality, looping, hot cues, beat jump, and other performance controls. Depending on the connected hardware and activated expansions, users can also access Serato Stems, DVS, Video, Flip, Play, Pitch ‘n Time DJ, and additional FX. Hardware compatibility is particularly important because advanced features and DVS operation depend on the connected Serato-supported device.

The Windows edition supports professional DJ workflows on modern 64-bit Windows systems, but there is an important hardware consideration: Windows ARM-based computers, including Qualcomm Snapdragon X systems, are currently not supported by Serato software. For reliable live performance, Serato also recommends optimizing Windows power, USB, audio, and background-process settings to reduce interruptions and latency.

Serato does not currently support ARM-based Windows computers, including Qualcomm Snapdragon X systems. AVX processor support is also required by current Serato software.
